PLANNING: Influences on our music video

Here are some videos that I think we could incorporate into our own:

1) Taylor Swift - Tim McGraw

I like this video because there are a lot of shots used that i think could suit the song. For example, there are some of her lying down in the grass. Another one is of her playing the guitar. It is a great way of showcasing her talents as it makes as focus on her playing the instrument using the rule of thirds.

2) Demi Lovato - Made in the USA

This music video has a nice filter to the narrative part of it. It gives it a more natural look. I like the use of the silhouettes against the setting in both of the shots shown below. Even though we will be shooting in daylight, we could try and incorporate this by shooting the artist facing away from the sun so there is a slight shadow on her.

3) Rihanna - Only Girl In The World

I also really like this video because of the way Rihanna is presented in her setting. I like the long shots in the flower fields and the close ups of her with the petals. It emphasizes the use of location and looks very feminine which we will try to do in our own video.
