Costume ideas and changes...
At first, we pictured our artist wearing summery dresses whilst filming. Since we have looked at the weather forecast we think it is apropriatte for our artist to dress slightly warmer as we will be filming outside. Our artist needs to feel comfortable and confident in her costume. We will still have a feminine style, possibly a longer skirt with a warm coat. We plan an autumn theme, this will also suit the song lyrics about heartbreak. A summery theme would contrast with the sad lyrics.
As a group we discussed the amount of costume changes our artist will have, we initally decided between 3-4. However, after more research into our genre (pop) we realised there is a common trend of having 2-3 costume changes. We feel it is right to follow this convention so we changed our idea.
Our artist will change from a feminine skirt/dress with a coat, to more causal looking costumes such as jeans and a nice jacket.
