We looked at many British girl bands and female solo artists to find a song which was suitable for us. Before deciding on a song we had to take into account these four things:
- tone of voice of the artist should fit the person acting
- look at the lyrics and the kind of music that it is
- isn't so explicit and wouldn't be so difficult to do
- genre that you don't really listen to
- choose a song without a music video so it wouldn't have something to be compared against
