Here is a slideshow I made, it is showing the feedback I received on my ancillary products and how it helped me view my work, I asked members of my target audience in particular. It also explains what I have learnt from my music video feedback and how the feedback from all audience members has helped me learn and change my view on my video.

Ancillary planning- advertisement ideas

I have changed some ideas for my advertisement since my previous pitch. I have decided to use a shot of Eli/Eva outside holding her guitar. I chose this image as the guitar has been consistent throughout the process and was seen in the music video. I also like this image as the prop creates a barrier between the image and the text which looks neat and is clear for the audience to read. I am going to add a filter to the advert to maintain consistency with the music video.

Ancillary planning- Inside panels ideas

I am going to use an image of the artist which is taken outside so is therefor consistent with the rest of my ancillary work and music video. Although she is looking down in this photo I feel this is effective as the photo on the front panel has direct eye contact which will draw the audience in. This will be the second photo seen. The setting of the photo and the theme is consistent with the rest of the digipak. I am going to use the inside panel as a chance to include a direct thankyou message to the audience. I also plan to write the artist name and album title on the actual CD.

A digipak should include the following information:

Front cover:

-Image of the artist
-Song
-album name-
Artist name (usually bigger than album title)

Spine:
- Artist name
-Song/album name
-Catalogue number
-Record company logo

Back cover:

-An image

-Track list

-Barcode

-Record company logo

-Copyright details

-Legal information

-Website address for artist

Our video has reached 213 views on Youtube so far! From posting it on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter I have made awareness of it.
