[Research] AS Music Video Base Tracks&Editing

• In terms of the base tracks, we used only two - one in the school corridor, and one near the lockers 
  
• Even though we only used two, we filmed them a few times from different angles and distances so that later we can use what we want
• We also used cutaways, such as the part where I'm holding a notebook and looking down and also when one of the dancers is jumping

• We didn't plan the location much so we just shot it in our college (which was convenient since the location looked similar to the one in the real music video)
• We also had to learn the routine for our remake, with which certain people from the group struggled so they improvised - this year we will plan everything in much more detail
• Another mistake was that in some parts of our remake we forgot to mute the recording sound, so there is unnecessary background noise such as people talking over the song
• To make the lip syncing precise, we picked a particular word from the song and matched our base track to the original clip on Final Cut Pro which made the whole process much easier (using a marker)
