[Production] Main Makeup Look

As shown in our previous blog posts, our artist Eva Ellis (me) will be wearing bright red lipstick in more than half of the shots in our music video.

This is for two main reasons:
1.) Synergy - the audience will begin to recognize her that way because this will be incorporated on any promotional posters and advertisements linked to her including the album cover. (it is also inspired by Taylor Swift as her usual look includes eyeliner and red lipstick)
2.) Male gaze - red is a colour which is symbolic of passion and sexuality which will therefore attract a male audience too. This is important because her main target audience are girls, so the red colour scheme will widen her audience

This is how my makeup look was created:
