-In our music video we have used dismemberment which can be linked to Laura Mulvey's theory of the Male Gaze
-Andrew Goodwin's theory can be applied as our artist (Eva Ellis) is both the narrator and the performer in the music video
-In our music video, I look directly into the camera,
to make the viewer feel more involved. This is rarely done in conventional
broadcast
-Intertextuality is also used - we incorporated elements from conventional indie pop music videos (such as the natural setting and the guitar which was used as a prop)
-In terms of the structure, we used disjuncture as there was no real connection between what I was singing and the shots in the video
