Filming our first base track...
Today we filmed one of our base tracks which is of our artist on Richmond Bridge. We took several shots of our artist walking along the bridge, towards and away from the camera. We experimented and filmed from different sides of the bridge, and came to a conclusion that the best angle was from the right side, which enabled the river scenery to be seen. We also took over the shoulder shots of our artist looking over the bridge, which enabled the audience to see the location (river, grass, boats, cafe and modern buildings).
Inconveniences when filming?
One problem was the large amount of pedestrians on the bridge. People were often caught in our shots and we had to wait until the bridge was clear. The weather was a slight inconvenience also.
